13 | On 01/07/2025 at 8:40 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michelle Hood conducted an unannounced complaint inspection regarding the above allegation, LPA met with the Director. LPA Hood explained the purpose of the inspection was to interview daycare children, facility staff & deliver the complaint findings. LPA observed 12 children with one teacher and two aides in the preschool classroom. During today's inspection, LPA interviewed five pre-school children and four facility staff.
Throughout the investigation, LPA Hood interviewed the director, licensee, Reporting Party (RP), daycare parents, daycare children, and facility staff. During an interview with the licensee, she acknowledged that the pre-school playground area has two metal poles that are unsafe for the children in care. During the facility playground tour with the licensee on 11/07/2024, LPA Hood and the licensee observed an off-limit area that was not made inaccessible to the children in care. This area contained two metal poles, cement bricks and trash.
