On 03/30/22 at 3:00 p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Rajani Goudreau arrived at the facility to conduct a pre-licensing (change of location) correction inspection. Upon arrival LPA, met with Resource Teacher, Josephine Condra and Early Learning Teacher, Terrya Pruitt and proceeded to tour the facility. The facility is requested a capacity of 24 preschool children; serving ages 2 through 5 years old. This preschool program will operate in room E103 in building E at Emerson Elementary.

The preschool room was observed to be equipped with age appropriate furniture and play equipment; including, tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves, and other learning and play materials for the children use. The preschool room was observed to be arranged to care for children. The classroom is orderly, free of hazards and has adequate heating, lighting and ventilation. Required documents were observed posted in the room. During the inspection, the Lead Prevention training certificate was submitted. The facility is ready for licensure.


The following reports were discussed and provided during the inspection: LIC809 and Appeal Rights (LIC9058). After final file review, a license for 24 Preschool children; ages 2 through 5 years old in preschool room E103 will be issued. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative, Josephine Condra.
