25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yee conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection and met with Licensee, Margie Stokes, her daughter, 2 helpers, and 10 children. The purpose of the inspection was explained. Current residents are licensee, Margie and her daughter only. Facility was inspected with the licensee. Daycare areas are(lower level): daycare room, bathroom, and side yard. The rest of the home is off-limits. The days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
LPA observed the following: Day-care area is clean, orderly, and equipped with age appropriate toys and equipment for the children. Home has sufficient lighting and ventilation. Home has a working telephone, a working smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and a fully charged fire extinguisher. There are no bodies of water on the property. There are no poisons, detergents, or cleaning products accessible to day-care children. Licensee states there are no guns or weapons of any kind in the home. Licensee’s CPR expires on 01-12-24. Licensee conducted last emergency drill on 02-15-2023 and is properly logged. Licensee provides daily snacks and meals.
LPA reviewed facility roster. Licensee has all required postings posted for parents to review.
*Licensee was reminded about having all Staff and Volunteers provide proof of immunization against influenza, pertussis, and measles or qualifies for an exemption.
*Licensee was reminded about the Provider Information Notices (PINs) on CCLD website.
*Licensee was reminded about Mandated Reporter Training available on CCLD website (www.ccld.ca.gov or www.mandatedreporterca.com). The licensee and helper competed the AB1207 on 09-06-2022.
