On 2/23/2024, at approximately 4:00PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jonathan Tse conducted an unannounced case management visit regarding an increase of capacity at the facility. LPA was granted entry to the facility by the Director, Shelley Carter. LPA explained the purpose of the visit to the Director.

The facility requested an increase in capacity from 160 children to 300 children.

The facility is currently operating in rooms 202, 203, 204, 205, 209, the Cafeteria, Upper Yard, Middle Yard, and Lower Yard.

The facility is requesting the addition of the following rooms: Room 108 (Art Room), the Library located in the Middle Yard, and the Music Room located in the Upper Yard.

LPA inspected the requested rooms for any health and safety hazards. LPA observed currently licensed day care areas to be equipped with age-appropriate toys and equipment. Requested rooms were observed to be equipped with fire extinguishers and a fire alarm system throughout. There are carbon monoxide and smoke detectors present in the rooms.

Pending fire clearance, the capacity increase from 160 to 300 and the following rooms are approved for addition to the facility's licensed areas: Room 108, the Library, and the Music Room.

A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
