The sand was used as the soft cushioning underneath the structures to prevent injury. The yards were clean and free of harmful objects. There were plenty of age-appropriate outdoor toys, ride-on-toys, play structures, playhouses, and see-saws available for children. The yard had a big sink with 2 faucets available for children. Per Hala, the facility was cleaned up by the volunteer parents daily. There was a big tree next to the play house providing shade to the children in the yard. Per Hala, there were a couple of children on special medications. LPA inspected the medication during the inspection. The facility had all the required postings. LPA inspected the sign-in/out sheet, reviewed the staff and children's files, and obtained copies of the children's roster & Personnel record (LIC 500) during the inspection. Staff had current Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, and CPR & First Training. LPA discussed the Required Lead Water Testing for Drinking Water in Licensed Child Care Center.
