25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yee conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection and met with Licensee, Queenie, helper and 09 children (2 infants). The purpose of the inspection was explained. Present at the facility are Licensee, Queenie, 1 helper and 09 children. Current residents are licensee, Jeanne, her husband and co-licensee, Queenie. Facility personnel summary report was reviewed with Queenie during the inspection and it's current. Days and hours of operations are from Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m Day-care areas (ground floor) One large room, small play room, bathroom, kitchen and backyard. The remaining areas are off limit.
LPA observed the following: Day-care area is clean, orderly, and equipped with age appropriate toys and equipment for the children. Home has sufficient lighting and ventilation. Home has a working telephone, a working smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and a fully charged fire extinguisher. There are no bodies of water on the property. There are no poisons, detergents, or cleaning products accessible to day-care children. Licensee states there are no guns or weapons of any kind in the home. Licensee’s CPR, 1st aid expires 10-2023. Licensee conducted last emergency drill on 04-25-23 and is properly logged. Licensee provides daily snacks, lunches and dinners.
LPA reviewed children files. Licensee has all required postings posted for parents to review.
*Licensee was reminded about having all Staff and Volunteers provide proof of immunization against influenza, pertussis, and measles or qualifies for an exemption.
*Licensee was reminded about the Provider Information Notices (PINs) on CCLD website.
*Licensee was reminded about Mandated Reporter Training available on CCLD website www.ccld.ca.gov or www.mandatedreporterca.com). Certificate completed on 10-06-2023.
