Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mok conducted an unannounced annual inspection today. LPA met with a Site Director, Shirley Li, from YMCA of SF Stonetown Brunch, Lutheran Church while the E.C.E. Executive, Anne Senores, was on her way to the facility. A New Site Director for this facility will start on 8/1/2023, so Anne is a person who oversee this facility recently. The E.C.E. Executive, Anne Senores, showed up later during the inspection. There were 24 children with 4 staffs present. Center is operating within capacity limits and in compliance with staff to child ratio. Hours of operation were Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. LPA toured and inspected center with Director. There were no bodies of water, firearms, or weapons on the premises. There were two classrooms in the center which were in good condition with proper temperature and ventilation and are free of any hazards. Furniture in classrooms are in good repair. Classrooms had age appropriate toys and equipment. There were two bathrooms in center. First bathroom located inside the Koala Classroom has two toilets and one sink. Second bathroom outside of Panda Classroom had two toilets and two sinks. Bathrooms appear to be clean, in good repair, and free of any hazards. There was a separate bathroom for staff usage on the premises. The outdoor play area was fenced for supervision with age appropriate toys and equipment in good condition and with sufficient cushioning underneath. All required postings and waivers were posted on the bulletin board by the entrance of the center. Center provides catered snacks and lunch. A menu was posted for the month. Drinking water was available for children indoor and outdoors. Food prep area clean and free of any toxins or contamination. All storage containers for solid waste have a proper lid. All cleaning products, chemicals, and toxins were inaccessible to children. Napping equipment was a properly stored when not in use. Bedding for cots were stored in children's cubbies when not in use and are brought home at the end of each week for cleaning. LPA inspected the sign-in & out, and children & staff files during the inspection.
