On January 27, 2020, at approximately 1:15pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Winnie Ly conducted an Unannounced Annual Inspection and met with site Director Johana Finetti and Executive Director, Leslie Einhorn. This is a School-age program (Kindergarten- 5th grade) located in the Rooftop Elementary School. The program's operating hours are Monday-Friday 1:50pm-6:00pm. Purpose of visit was explained. Present during visit were 28 staff and 140 children.

LPA and Site Director inspected the school age classrooms for Health and Safety Hazards. The classrooms were clean and orderly. There are no bodies of water present at the school.Disinfectants, cleaning solutions and other potentially harmful items were inaccessible to the children. Medications are stored out of reach of the children. The furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. Each classroom is equipped with a fully charge fire extinguisher, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Females' restrooms and males’ restroom are separated from each other. All restrooms were in safe and sanitary operating condition. LPA and Site Director also toured the outdoor play area. LPA observed outdoor equipment is in good condition. The play structure appears to be age appropriate for children in care. Areas under slides and other play areas were adequately cushioned. Children were signed in electronically by the school staff using program's app. Parents sign children out using the same app with Ipad provided by the program when picking the children up. Last Emergency Drill was conducted on 11/22/2019 and is properly logged. A random sample of children's files were reviewed electronically and found to be complete. A random sample of staff's files were also reviewed and found to be complete. At least one staff have current Pediatric First Aid and CPR.
