25 | On June 30, 2022 at approximately 9:00am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Catrina Quimbo conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. LPA met with licensee, Jennifer Clark, and explained the purpose of the inspection. Present in the home were licensee, licensee's spouse/helper, licensee's minor child, and 6 enrolled children (4 infants and 2 preschool age). Licensee is operating within capacity limits at time of LPA's inspection.
All adults living and/or working in the home have criminal record clearance on file. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm. Licensee owns the home which consists of three levels. The DAY CARE AREAS are the entire first level of the home and the backyard area. The OFF-LIMIT AREAS are the garage, entire second and third level of the home.
At approximately 9:15am, LPA toured day care areas of home with licensee. The first level of the home includes 4 separate areas used for day care that includes an activity area, napping area, eating area and classroom area. First level of the home also includes a bathroom for day care use. LPA observed day care areas to have a variety of age appropriate toys that were in good condition. Home is well ventilated with proper temperature. Backyard is equipped with appropriate outdoor toys and equipment that are in good working condition. LPA did not observe any pools, spas or bodies of water on the property.
LPA observed cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals to be inaccessible on facility's high cabinets and shelves. There was a working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher and working telephone on site. Phone number listed for licensee is current. Per licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home.
