25 | On November 3, 2022., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Van performed an annual 1-year mandatory inspection, which included checking the interior and exterior of the facility and discussing the required childcare paperwork with the Licensees, Galina & Vladimir Goldfeld. The purpose of the inspection was explained, and granted entry to the home by Ms. Goldfeld. Today, nine children were supervised by the Licensees and two helpers (4 infants and 5 preschoolers). Every adult living and working in the home has a criminal record clearance. Childcare areas are on the ground floor, including the playroom, bedroom, study room, bathroom, and backyard. Off-limit areas are the garage and the entire second-level floor.
LPA reviewed and inspected the Licensee's home for health and safety hazards. The house is in good condition, with appropriate temperature and ventilation. All cleaning supplies, poisons, and other chemicals were kept out of reach of children. There were no pools, spas, or bodies of water on the premises. Playpens and cribs are available for younger children, and cots are for older children to use for napping. LPA reminded the Licensee that there should be no toys, pillows, or objects hanging above the cribs/playpens per Infant Safe Sleep Regulation. All mattresses shall be designed for that cribs, and bedsheets should be tight-fitted. There are a fully charged fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a functional phone.
