25 | Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee conducted a Required - 1-year inspection today. The purpose of the inspection was explained. There are 7 children, licensee a helper at the facility today. LPA and Joann tour the facility. Current residents are Joann, her husband, their daughter, 13 years old son, and Mother in law. Areas used for daycare are located on the lower level. Day-care areas: living room, activity areas, bedroom for napping only, bathroom in the kitchen, and back yard. The entire upper level is off-limit. The facility personnel summary report was reviewed with Joann during the inspection and it's current. Days and hours of operations are from Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The home is equipped with a smoke detector, a carbon monoxide detector, and a fully charged fire extinguisher. The licensee and helper have current CPR & 1st aid until 9-2022, and 7-2023. The facility is on the food program. Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training, AB1207 certificate is on file and competed on 4/16/2022 for the helper and the licensee. Liability insurance is on file. An emergency drill was conducted every 3 months. Las emergency drill was conducted on 3/31/2022.
LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with the licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. The facility has no infants. Children's files were reviewed. The facility is in compliance.
