25 | Due to the COVID-19 health crisis and state, local county orders, a tele-inspection was conducted. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Van met with the Facilities Manager, Susanna Leung, for a case management inspection via Facetime. The purpose of the tele-inspection is to inspect the newly repaired office room that was damaged by a fire, which was self-reported to the Department by the facility on August 28, 2020. Per the Facilities Manager, the fire was damaged only in the office area, and all classrooms were unaffected.
Through FaceTime video chat, LPA and the Facilities Manager inspected the newly repaired office area for Health and Safety Hazards. According to the Facilities Manager, the following items were repaired or replaced in the office area; the roof, window, carpets, drywalls, ceiling, and outlets cover. In today’s inspection, LPA observed no other potential hazards; the office appears clean and orderly. The Department has received the Approved Fire Clearance from the San Francisco Fire Department on October 23, 2020.
It was determined that the facility is safe and can resume operation as of today. The Facilities Manager stated that the facility is planning to resume operation on Monday, October 26.
