25 | 3, Licensing Program Analysts, LPAs Yee, and Cowan conducted an annual random inspection today. The purpose of the inspection was explained. There are 30 children and 6 staff members present today. The facility personnel summary report was reviewed with the site director and she said it's current. LPAs inspected indoor and outdoor areas with the site director for health and safety hazards. The facility is equipped with a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and a fire extinguisher. Day-care areas: Utopia preschool room, and outside the yard. The children toys, equipment appear to be safe and in good condition. The facility provides breakfast, morning snacks, afternoon snacks and children bring their own lunches. The staff has current CPR & 1st aid certificate which expires 3/20/21. The emergency drill was conducted monthly. Staff immunization is on files. The staff has Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training, AB1207 certificate on file. Children nap equipment are stored separately. Activities scheduled are posted in the classroom. This facility provides Incidental Medical Services - IMS.
