13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Singh met with teacher, Andres Tobar, to investigate above allegation. Purpose of the inspection was explained. Prior to receiving this complaint, the facility self reported an unusual incident of a parent alleging the above allegations to the department. A case management inspection was conducted on September 25, 2019. During the inspection, LPA interviewed the director and received the copy of the statements of the teachers.
During today’s investigation, LPA inspected the infant care areas and interviewed the teacher, Andres Tobar. During today’s observation, LPA observed the facility has two staff in each classroom providing supervision. During interview, teacher stated that the staff has been trained on proper supervision. Per teacher, director and other additional staff members stays in the classroom during the drop off time because that is the most busy time of the day.
Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated. Copy of this report is reviewed and provided to the director. Notice of site visit is posted and shall remain posted for next 30 days.
