25 | 2, Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee conducted an annual random inspection today. There are 24 children, owner, 3 staff members present today. Day-care areas: one large room, one small room, patio areas for outdoor activities. The large playground is adjacent to the large classroom which belongs to the Park and Rec. Waiver for the large playground is on file and posted. The facility personnel summary report was reviewed with the owner and updated during the inspection. LPA toured the facility with Ms. Shtern. The facility is ventilated properly. Children toys are age appropriate and appear to be clean and safe. The facility provides snacks and lunches. LPA discussed the Mandated Reporter Training, AB1207 that was effective on 1/1/2018. All staff must take the training and keep the certificate on file. The staff has a Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training certificate on file. CPR & 1ST aid certificate is current until 10-2020. The facility provides snacks and children to bring their own lunches. Isolation for the ill child is available in the site director office. Current LIC500 was obtained during the inspection. Last emergency drill was conducted May-16-2019. The facility said they conduct emergency drill once a month.
