25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA)Glenn Schnell conducted a case management inspection in response to a request from the licensee to increase the capacity from 60 to 65 children, ages two years old until entry into first grade. The indoor and outdoor space measurements remain the same. LPA Schnell inspected the facility today and reviewed prior licensing reports to determine indoor/outdoor square footage as well and sink and toilet requirements. Rooms used are rooms 1 through 6, and the library. Total square footage is 2485 which equals 71 children. Outdoor measurements total 6100 square feet which equals 81 children. There are 22 sinks, a sufficient amount for 330 children and 5 toilets, a sufficient amount for 75 children.
The toys, materials, supplies for children, as well and the fixtures, furniture and equipment were observed to be good working condition and was determined to be an adequate amount to serve up to 65 children. The facility is equipped with a first aid kit that has the required supplies as well as a fire alarm system and carbon monoxide detectors.
LPA Schnell will recommend approving the increase in capacity from 60 to 65 once the following is completed:
-A fire safety clearance is received
-A copy of this report is signed and returned to LPA Schnell. Report can be scanned and emailed to LPA.
An electronic copy of this report was emailed to Facility Director Lonna Corder on 8/26/20.
Please review and sign the report then return to LPA Schnell. |
