On June 14, 2023, at approximately 8:20am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ly conducted an Unannounced Case Management Visit - Licensee initiated for an increase of capacity from 65 to 70 children, ages two years old until entry into first grade. Facility was not open when LPA arrived. LPA came into the facility when the first staff arrived. LPA met with Staff Stephanie Crisostomo during the visit. Purpose of the inspection was explained. There were no children present at the time LPA arrived. Per Stephanie, program starts at 9:00am but staff start arriving at 8:30am for preparation. Assistant Director Ashley Sedillo arrived at facility half an hour into the inspection. There were 7 staff caring for 26 children at the end of this inspection.

LPA Ly and Assistant Director inspected the facility today and reviewed prior licensing reports to determine indoor/outdoor square footage as well and sink and toilet requirements. Rooms used are rooms 1 through 6, and the library. Total square footage is 2485 which equals 71 children. Outdoor measurements total 6100 square feet which equals 81 children. There are 22 sinks, a sufficient amount for 330 children and 5 toilets, a sufficient amount for 75 children.

LPA Ly observed there were sufficient amount of toys, materials, supplies for children, as well and the fixtures, furniture and equipment in good working condition and was determined to be an adequate amount to serve up to 70 children as requested. The facility is equipped with a first aid kit that has the required supplies as well as a fire alarm system and carbon monoxide detectors.

A Fire Safety Clearance has been granted by the Presidio Trust Fire Department on 05/11/2023.

LPA Ly will recommend approving the increase in capacity from 65 to 70.

No deficiencies were issued today under Title 22 Division 12 of the California Code of Regulations. A copy of this report and appeal rights were discussed and left with Assistant Director whose signature on this form confirm receipt of these reports. Notice of Site Visit was posted.
