The daycare areas are the entire lower level except for the garage, & backyard with Patio. The off-limit areas were: the entire upper level, the kitchen area in the playroom the stairs, & garage. LPA toured and inspected the facility for health and safety hazards. The licensee installed gates at the stairway to the backyard. The licensee installed the rubber mats on the entire ground as soft cushioning to prevent injury. There was a 4 ft fence installed at the patio. There were some ride-on toys, playhouses, climbing structures, and outdoor toys available for children. The licensee installs a gate at the main daycare entrance to prevent children from accessing the off-limit areas. Cribs and cots were used for napping. Per the licensee, there were no children on special medication. The licensee had no guns, weapons, or pets in the house. The facility has conducted the disaster drill 2 times a year and logged. LPA reviewed the children's file and obtained a copy of the current children's roster during the inspection. The facility posted the required postings by the main entrance.
