Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mok conducted a Tele-inspection via FaceTime with Licensee, Lai Yee Au because CDSS suspended field inspections temporarily due to the COVID19 pandemic. There were no children present during the inspection. Licensee requested to add the backyard to the daycare area before she reopens her daycare on 7/1/2020. LPA inspected the backyard via FaceTime. The outdoor play yard was completely fenced. The garden bed in the backyard was barricaded to prevent children's access. There were plenty of outdoor toys and ride-on toys available for the children. A barricade was installed to the area between the storage room and garage to prevent children access the off-limit areas. There was a side door at the side yard to the street as a second fire exit. A mechanical door charm was installed to the gate to prevent children leave the premises to the street, The backyard is added to the daycare areas as of today.
