25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mok conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with a Site Director, Benjamin Wilson, and Curriculum Director, Jordan Toledo, and explained the purpose of the inspection to them. The facility had 39 children with 8 staff present upon LPA's arrival. All staff had fingerprint clearance. The facility had 2 main entrances for 2 separate classrooms. The entrance on Clement street was for the 'Duck class" on the lower level; another entrance at the play yard on 7th Avenue was for the Owl Class on the upper level, The facility's operation hours were Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The facility has run the preschool program in 2 separate classrooms on a different levels, they were called "Owl" and "Duck". LPA inspected the facility for health and safety hazards. The facility was clean and in order. The temperature and lighting were adequate. All toxins and harmful objects were made inaccessible to the children. The facility had the right amount of cubbies with children's names or pictures available for the children to store personal belongings in both classrooms. The facility had an adjacent children's bathroom in each classroom with a total of 5 toilets and 2 big sinks with 6 faucets. There were plenty of age-appropriate toys, books, learning materials and equipment, and children's furniture that were in good condition and repair available for children indoors. The children have brought their own "nap Mat" that has a blanket attaching it for napping, and taken them home for washing every Friday and then brought back the following school day. All electrical outlets were covered. The facility has provided lunch to the children, but not snacks, and some of the children have brought their lunch if necessary. The outdoor play yard was completely fenced. The play yard had appropriate toys and a water table available for the children. LPA did not observe any harmful objects in the yard during the inspection. Per Benjamin, there were no children on special medication. The facility has conducted the emergency drill 4 times a year. The latest one was conducted on 11/3/22. LPA reviewed the staff and children's files and obtained a copy of the current children's roster from the facility during the inspection. At least one staff had current CPR.First Aid training on-site. All required postings were posted,
