25 | 2, Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee conducted an annual random inspection today. There are 11 children, licensee, Li Ping, daughter in law, YinYin Zeng and helper, BingYi Lin present today. The purpose of the inspection was explained. No change in the daycare areas. Day-care areas (lower level): one large room, bathroom, and backyard. The remaining areas of the home are off-limit. The home is equipped with a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and a fire extinguisher. Required immunization for staff members is on file. All staffs have current CPR & 1st aid certificate on file. Fire clearance for large is on file. The facility provides morning snacks, lunches and afternoon snacks. The children toys and equipment appear to be in good condition, age-appropriate and safe. This facility provides Incidental Medical Services - IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies and reviewed children's, personnel, and administrative records. A written IMS plan is on file. LPA discussed the Mandated Reporter Training, AB1207 that was effective on 1/1/2018. All staff must take the training and keep the certificate on file. The children roster was reviewed. The capacity for large was discussed and provided a capacity worksheet for reference. SIDS "A Child Care Provider's Guide to Safe Sleep" was explained and provided. The facility is in compliance today.
