Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. LPA provided information for creating an IMS plan should the facility decide to provide IMS in the future. This plan is to be submitted prior to providing these services.
The following is required prior to licensure:
- The second floor has no toys or equipment for children. This area requires equipment prior to usage.
- Carbon Monoxide Detectors.
- First aid supplies.
- Gates for bottoms of front and back stair cases are required. Once the facility expands to the second floor, gates will also be required at the top of both stair cases.
- A waiver is required to be submitted and approved for scheduled usage of the outdoor play area due to insufficient square footage.
- A gate is required to be installed in the outdoor play area to separate the areas not safe for children (garbage area).
- Paperwork requires review.

- PUB 269, Car Seat Law
- LIC 613A, Personal Rights
- LIC 610, Emergency Disaster Plan
- Daily activity schedule
- LPA advised that once the facility is licensed, the license is also required to be posted
