25 | Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee conducted a case management inspection today. The facility has requested to increase the capacity for a large daycare. LPA met with Angela Baquero. Present at the facility are Angela, her husband, and 5 children (1 infant). LPA inspected the daycare areas with Angela. Current residents are Angela, her husband, Jose's 16 years old son, and their 2 years old daughter. Days and hours of operation: Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Day Care Areas (lower level): living room, bathroom, room #1, room #2, and backyard. The off-limit area: the entire upper level, and garage. The home is equipped with a carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, and fire extinguisher that meets the fire department standard are available. LPA advised the to conduct emergency drills once every six months and keep a log sheet.
The applicant has required immunization records on file. The 8 hours Health and Safety certificate is on file. CPR and 1st aid are current.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services - IMS. LPA review AB 1207 with the Licensee. As of January 1, 2018, all staff members are required to complete Mandated Reporter Training every two years. The training can be obtained online at www.mandatedreporterca.com. AB 1207 certificate for the licensee is on file.
