Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Joleen Kenney and Karyn Guerra conducted a case management visit for the purpose of changing a room. Modular room #32 was removed, and replaced with a new modular, also identified as room #32. The new modular has been relocated next to room #45. LPAs met with the Director, Mary Lisa Lopez. Applicant requests a preschool license for 24 children. Room #33 and Room #45 also each have a capacity for 24 children, for a total licensed capacity of 72 children.

The program in room #32 will operate 8:00AM-2:00PM. The programs in room #45 will operate from 8:00AM-11:00AM and 12:00PM-3:00PM. The programs in room #33 will operate from 7:30AM-11:00AM and 12:00PM-3:30PM. All programs will be following the Lodi Unified School District Calendar. The facility has a copy of the following documents posted in a conspicuous area: facility license, parent's rights, personal rights, menus, daily schedule, emergency disaster plan, and car seat law.

INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
The room is equipped with child size furnishings. There are areas designated for the office and break room. Children will get water from the drinking fountain located inside the classroom. The room measures 983.625 square feet, which will accommodate the requested capacity of 24 children for room #32 There is a separate staff restroom located inside the classroom. Children who become ill during the day will be isolated in a designated area in the classroom and will use the staff restroom, if necessary.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
There are no changes to the existing play area.

Pending the receipt of the fire clearance, LPAs will approve the room change and issue a new license.
