13 | On February 08,2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elvira Sierra conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to investigate the above allegation and met with Assistant Director, Antonia Torres who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Present in the facility were 6 staff supervising 33 children.
LPA conducted an interview with Assistant Director who stated that she is aware that facility advertised online under www.stbasilPreschoolstockton.org and Facebook under St Basil Preschool. Facility advertises the business location and how to contact the facility. LPA reviewed both websites and did not observe a license number listed on any of the websites. Facility representative stated that she was not aware that license number had to be listed when advertising. LPA explained the license number should be listed and explained to facility representative that she could find all the regulations for childcare centers on the licensing website.
Based on LPA records reviews and interview the preponderance of evidence standard has been met; therefore, the above allegation is substantiated.LPA assessed a technical violation as there were no immediate or potential risks to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care. This report and Appeal of Rights were reviewed and provided to Assistant Director, Antonia Torres.. Exit interview was conducted.
