25 | On November 1, 2022, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Lauren Scott and Corina Beckby, met with Master Teacher Leonelyn Anova, for the purpose of an unannounced Annual inspection. There were zero children present at the time of the inspection. Facility stated school aged children arrive at the facility beginning at 2:00 PM. Facility days and hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
LPA toured the facility inside and out. LPA observed that hazardous items (disinfectants, cleaning solutions, etc.) were inaccessible to children in care. LPAs observed the following items during today's inspection: care and supervision of children, staffing ratios, first aid supplies, furniture, equipment, and access to drinking water. LPA observed all required forms to be posted.
Facility uses the main school's outdoor play area, located behind the multipurpose room. This outdoor play area was toured, the play structure appeared to be in good repair, and there is sufficient cushioning (bark) under the play structure LPA reviewed the sign in/out book and observed that the children are properly signed in/out.
All staff present during today's inspection have a fingerprint clearance. Facility Representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
