25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Chayntel Hunter and Salene Mayberry conducted a site inspection for the purpose of a Room Addition. LPAs met with Director, Lori Sherman. The program is adding Room 6 for the kindergarten class. Facility is not changing their capacity, but is requesting up to 12 children to be in that class.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
The indoor space is one classroom. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the requested 12 children. The classroom is equipped with child size furnishings. Director stated the program does offer a nap session for the kindergarten classes. The classrooms contain a total measurement of 926.604 square feet which is enough to accommodate the licensed capacity request of 12 children. LPAs observed smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher that all meet title 22 regulations. Director will get a carbon monoxide detector installed into the room.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
The outdoor play area is fenced and is equipped with children's outdoor play equipment. The outdoor activity space was previously measured. No changes were made to the outdoor space. Director stated children will utilize the outside bathroom and sinks. LPAs discussed 100% supervision when transitioning any children into the restroom.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Facility Representative. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. License will be granted pending the following documents:

- LIC309 Administrative Organization
- Verification of Fire Clearance
