13 | On Friday, February 25, 2022, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Elvira Sierra conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and met with Facility Representatives. Upon arrival LPA conducted a tour of the facility, took census and inspected all areas accessible to children. LPA observed 5 children supervised by 3 staff members. Criminal record clearances have been verified.
The Reporting Party (RP) allegued the facility has a rat infestation. LPA inspected the facility for health and safety in all areas accesiible to chilren. During the inspection LPA conducted interviews with facility representatives who stated facility has an ongoing contract with an integrated pest management company since 06/18/2010. Pest management company services the facility twice a month to monitor pest activity if any. LPA obtained copy of the integrated pest management contract and other pertaining documents.
Based on the information obtained on today's inspection the above allegation could not be substantiated or dismissed. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the findings are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Exit interview was conducted. Appeal rights and Notice of Site Visit was provided to Facility Representatives, Maribel Gonzales and Jennifer Her. Notice of Site Visit should remain posted for 30 days.
