13 | On November 4, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elvira Sierra met with Director, Elizabeth Herrera and Licensee, Ervin Smith to deliver the findings of the complaint investigation regarding the above allegations. Present in the facility were 8 staff caring for 33 children.
During the investigation, LPA Sierra conducted interviews with staff, parents, and daycare children. LPA also conducted observations and obtained information pertaining to the allegations. It was alleged a daycare child was touched by another daycare child while in care, staff does not provide adequate supervision to day care children and staff records children without parent's consent. During inspections visits conducted on 09/09/22, 09/27/22 and 10/14/22 LPA observed appropriate care and supervision and staffing ratios. Also interviews with staff did not revealed any incidents involving inappropiate interaction between daycare children. Children interviews did not reveal any evidence to support the allegations and parents that were interviewed stated to have no concerns with the care and supervision at the facility.
