The report will be emailed to applicant for signatures and documented in 812. On 26th March, 2021 at 10;00am, LPA Sridharan met virtually with the director, Lili Wang for case management initiated by licensee for addition of toddler option to the preschool license. The facility is licensed since 2017 and was licensed with a preschool license for 119 children. The facility is now requesting to decrease the preschool license to 95 children and add the 24 toddlers between the ages of 18 and 36 months (toddler option) to the preschool license. LPA conducted virtual tour of the facility inside and outside and measured the classrooms #2 and #4 and outdoor toddler playground. There are nine children present during today's visit. The toddler rooms Room 2(2 years- 3 years) and Room 4(18 months- 24 months). The facility has six rooms which includes staff lounge(Room#1), two toddler classrooms(Room #2 and #4) and three preschool classrooms(Room#3, #5 and #6). The facility operates Monday - Friday from 7am to 6pm. The facility has fire extinguisher, smoke alarm and Carbon Monoxide detector that meet regulations. The toddlers will be using a separate playground. Indoor toddler rooms measurements-(Capacity Worksheet) Room #4 measures 613 square feet and has one toilet and three sinks, diaper changing table and exit door to playground. Room #2 measures 423 square feet and has one toilet and three sinks. TOTAL INDOOR CAPACITY: 1036 square feet which accommodates 29 children. This will accommodate the requested 24 toddlers aged 18 months to 36 months. Outdoor toddler play area measurements-(Capacity Worksheet) 87 ft X 41 ft = 3567 square feet. There are tikes, balls and a shaded area. There is no water fountain, the facility will have water readily available for children.

TOTAL OUTDOOR CAPACITY: 3567 square feet which accommodates 47 toddlers. This will accommodate the requested amount of 24 toddlers aged 18 months to 36 months.

The measurements for the toddler room and outdoor play area will accommodate the Licensee's requested 24 Toddlers.

LPA Sridharan went over the required paperwork to complete the Toddler Option application. The following is required before the toddler option will be approved-

1) Amend the Admission Agreement to include Toddler Option Program (age ranges and statement that parent permission will be required to enroll child into the Toddler Program)
2) Amend Parent Handbook to include Toddler Option Program and information and steps on how child would qualify for the Toddler Program.
3) Updated food and menu if meals and snacks different for toddlers.Sample Menu
4) Toddler teacher job description(Duties and Responsibilities)
5) List of furniture (chairs, tables, cubbies and cots for each room in Toddler rooms.
