25 | On April 14, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tobias Lake met with Licensee, Aurora Lopez, for the purpose of an unannounced annual inspection. There were no children present at the time of inspection as Licensee was on vacation this week. Licensee's daughter was also present during the inspection and assisted with Spanish translation. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
A health and safety inspection was conducted in all areas accessible to children. Off-limits areas include the back two bedrooms, the garage, and the gated side yard. Licensee requested to put their shed off limits. Off limit areas are being made inaccessible by closed/locked doors and a gate. Licensee requested to put the ungated side yard on limits, LPA observed the area to be compliant. LPA observed the required postings and a working phone. LPA observed a 2A10BC fire extinguisher that meets regulations. LPA observed smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and Licensee verified they were both functional.
