On 12/15/2021 at 11:15 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeevun Birk-Miller conducted an unannounced complaint investigation and met with Licensee, Megan James. The purpose was to discuss the above complaint allegations. It was alleged that an adult spending time around with daycare children is uncleared. It was alleged that an adult in the home poses a risk to daycare children and that an adult in the home throws things at children in the home. During the course of the investigation the LPA conducted interviews, reviewed documents, and made observations. LPAs Birk-Miller and Chayntel Hunter had toured the facility inside and out on 9/23/2021. Licensee stated there are no other adults residing in the facility other than herself. It was stated the only individuals who interact with children in care are her assistants. If there are visitors they do not interact with the children and/or come after hours. Five of five parents interviewed did not indicate any concerns about the adults living or working in the facility. Based on the information obtained throughout the course of this investigation the above allegations could not be substantiated or dismissed. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the finding is UNSUBSTANTIATED. At this time no citations were given. An exit interview was conducted with the Licensee. At this time Notice of Site Visit was provided and shall remain posted for 30 days.
