25 | On 10/5/2021 at 11:23am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Licensee Felicia Quiroz for an Unannounced Post-Licensing Inspection. Present during the inspection was the Licensee, her 12-year-old daughter and one (1) preschool age child. Licensee lives in the home with her daughter. Licensee’s home was toured for a health and safety inspection. The facility operates from 7:00am – 5:30pm.
ON LIMITS AREA: Living Room, Playroom, Dining Area, Laundry Room, Bathroom, First Bedroom on Left side, Bedroom at end of the hallway on the left side, Backyard and Side yard
OFF LIMITS AREA: Bedroom in corner of hallway (daughters’ room), Master Bedroom/Bathroom and Garage
ISOLATION AREA: Laundry Room
The facility is a single-story home owned by the Licensee. The inside and outside of the home are observed to be neat and clean with ample age appropriate materials for the children. All toxins, cleaning products, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas Licensee has stated that there are two (2) dogs in the home.
The home has one (1) fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher in the garage. There is one (1) working smoke detector in the playroom, the living room and every bedroom. The working carbon monoxide detector is located at the end of the hallway. The home is equipped with central heating and air for proper ventilation. The fireplace in the living room has a working lock that makes it inaccessible to the children in care.
