On July 21st, 2023 at 10:10 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dixie Wright conducted an Annual/Required inspection. LPA met with Director Catherine Evenson and conducted a facility tour of the building and facility grounds, inside and outside.

There were eight children present at the time of inspection. One Teacher and one Teacher's Aide were present, both fingerprint cleared and associated. The facility operates Mon-Thurs 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and 7AM to noon on Friday during the summer, and 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Mon-Fri when school is back in session.

The facility accepts children two six years old. There is one building for the Day Care, with three classroom areas. LPA observed required postings on the wall near the main entrance, prominently in view. Facility has enough restrooms for children in care. Children bring their own lunch and snacks, facility does not provide. There are cubbies in each classroom for the children's belongings. The facility provides water cups and water. All the cups had the children's names on them. Age appropriate toys, books, supplies for activities, furniture and playground equipment were observed. There is ample shade and space for the children. LPA did not observe any hazards on the playground or in the building. Carbon monoxide detector was tested and functioning at 10:38 AM. Last disaster drill was done on 07/06/2023. The facility water was tested for lead contaminants on 03/11/2023 and water was found to be safe and within guidelines. A copy of the lead testing report was provided to LPA.
