This is an amended version of the original report dated 3/6/2020.
On March 6, 2020, at 12: 47 pm, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Gigi Reyes and Maria McDaniels conducted a subsequent inspection to deliver the final findings on the above complaint allegations. LPAs disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry to day care by the Licensee. Five children, Licensee and husband/assistant were present during the inspection.
Investigation included two unannounced inspections, record review and interviews of parents of currently and previously enrolled day care children, and children.

Regarding the allegation Licensee refused to release day care child to parent, it was reported that on 2/6/2020 on or about 4:40 PM, a parent picking up day care children (Child# 1 and Child # 2) was greeted by the Licensee at the front gate and was told that Child # 1 was at day care however Child # 2 was at the park with the assistant. Licensee urged the parent to pick up Child # 1 later because Licensing (LPA) was at the day care on that day, 2/6/2020. It was alleged that Licensee did not want the parent to be interviewed by LPA. Licensee stated, Licensee suggested to parent to pick Child 2 from the park and come back later to pick up child # 1.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.

It was reported that 3 school age children were taken to locations other than day care home.
