On 1/12/22, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elvin Baddley conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection of the abovementioned Child Care Center (CCC), to follow up on a report received by CCIB on 12/14/21, indicating the Director used profanity in the presence of a child in care as well as the parent of the given child. LPA met with the Camille Brunner, Director of the CCC and explained the nature of the inspection. LPA notes 22 children are on site along with 3 teachers providing care and supervision. Director is also assisting with the care and supervision of children at the time of the inspection.

LPA discussed the incident with the Director. The identity of the Reporting Parent (RP) was not disclosed however the Director appeared familiar with the incident and the RP's identity. Director informed LPA Director met with RP and informed RP Director did not use profanity. The Director also immediately denied using profanity after originally being approached by the RP. The Director noted working with children for a number of years and recognizes the importance of using appropriate language around children, parents and staff members. Director informed LPA RP may have mistakenly heard something the Director did not say. Director informed LPA there was no individuals present who may have witnessed the incident to either confirm or disprove the RP's allegation.

LPA is unable to collaborate the PR's account of the incident or confirm the Director used profanity. Based on the aforementioned, it is determined no violations have occurred, thus no deficiencies are cited during this inspection.
