25 | On July 27, 2020 at 4:00 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Francisco Pedroza and Maria McDaniels conducted an unannounced tele-visit Case Management inspection. Due to the COVID - 19 and Department of Public Health guidelines of social distancing, a tele-inspection was conducted. LPAs met with licensee Sophia Crisp and discussed the nature and purpose of the inspection. The tele-inspection was conducted via Zoom. During this tele-inspection the licensee took LPAs on a tour of the facility. There were no children in care at the time of the inspection.
The facility applied to Community Care Licensing (CCL) requesting an increase in capacity. LPA observed age appropriate toys, games, napping equipment, and furniture. LPA observed four cribs and multiple mats for older children to lay on in the napping room.
Licensee applied to CCL requesting a waiver for their outdoor activity space. The waiver was granted based upon the documentation submitted by the licensee. The licensee created a staggard outdoor activity schedule. Licensee was advised that the waiver must be posted and readily available for review at all times. The waiver can be denied by CCL anytime should the conditions established are not followed.
The classroom and playground had the following measurements:
The classroom measured approximately 336 sqft / 35 = 8 children
The outdoor yard measured approximately 300.25 sqft / 75 = 4 children.
The center meets Title 22 Division 12 requirements. License will be effective today, July 27, 2020 for 8 infant children.
