32 | Children in care bring lunches and snacks from their respective homes. Additionally, each classroom had licensing required noticed posted predominately. The CCC uses electronic means to sign children in and out. LPA reviewed sign in and sign out which was completed appropriately.
A sampling of staff and children records were reviewed. The children’s records were complete and found to contain emergency contact information. Staff records were reviewed and contained documentation to support their educational training and experience. Director noted no firearms/weapons or ammunition was stored on the premises.
This facility does not provides Incidental Medical Services (IMS). LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. LPA discussed COVID 19 guidance and best practices with the Director. Director was reminded that it is Director's responsibility to know the regulations for a CCC which can be accessed on-line at www.ccld.ca.gov.
In areas evaluated, there were no deficiencies cited at this time.
