LPA Kaur conducted a tele visit due to shelter-in-place orders placed in March of 2020. LPA Kaur conducted a FaceTime conference and met with facility director, Rosemary Juarez. Director requested to use the parking lot to be used as a play area for day care children due to COVID-19 social distancing guidelines.

At 10 AM, LPA Kaur inspected day care area and parking lot via video call. Facility is currently closed, planning to reopen in September. Facility has 5 classrooms. All classrooms will conduct COVID-19 health check by the stairs in the parking lot. Parking lot is fully enclosed by a 4 feet fence. Parking lot is divided into 2 lots: LOT 1 and LOT 2. The lots are used for playtime by different classes during their assigned times. Children will use parking lot for physical activities like jump rope, hula-hoop, basketball, and relay races. All equipment will be sanitized in between uses. Teachers will be available with First Aid Kit and latex gloves. Playground hours will be 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

LPA approved parking lot as of today 07/21/20 until COVID-19 Pandemic is resolved. Director has been advised to contact LPA if further use of the parking lot as socially distant parking lot as a playground is needed after the pandemic.
