25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mok conducted an announced case management inspection for a capacity increase today. LPA met with the Owner, Susan McAfee, and Site Director, Debbie Giannattasio. There were no children present during the inspection. The facility applied for a capacity increase from 7/28/22. The facility wanted to add room #23 to the program to increase the total capacity from 90 to 120. CCL received a fire clearance approval from the fire department on 10/18/22 and Superintendent's certification on 7/28/22. LPA inspected room #23 for health and safety hazards. The room was located in the Portable building next to the Kindergarten playground. The room was clean and in order; temperature and lighting were adequate; some age-appropriate toys, books, learning materials, and children's furniture that in good condition and available for the school-age children in the room; toxins and harmful objects were made inaccessible to the children; First Aid supplies were available in the room. LPA observed a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher and a working 2-in-1 carbon & smoke detector in the room. Room #23 was approved and added to the program after the inspection; The school-age program will be run in the following rooms starting today: #20, #21, #22, #23, #23A, and #24.
