25 | On April 13th, 2022 at 2:45pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted an unannounced required annual inspection. Purpose of the inspection was explained. LPA met with licensee, Yathmin Rodriguez. Present in the facility is licensee and assistant caring for 6 children. Licensee is operating within capacity limits. All adults living and working in the home have a criminal record clearance on file.
Licensee owns home, which is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, single level house. Licensee lives with
The Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm. Daycare areas are: Living Room, Dining Area, Bathroom #1, Kitchen (walk through), Daycare room (converted Garage), and Backyard. Off Limit areas are: Master Bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, and Storage shed in the backyard. All off limit areas are properly barricaded. Backyard is currently under construction. Children are only allowed on the deck until construction is over.
LPA toured day care areas of home with Licensee. LPA observed home to be clean and in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation. There were a variety of age appropriate toys and equipment in the home which were in good condition. Home has no fireplace or pets. There were no pools, spas or bodies of water on the property. All cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals were stored inaccessible to children. Discipline Policy was discussed.
There was a fully charged fire extinguisher, smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm, and a working telephone on site. Phone number listed for Licensee is current. Per Licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home. LPA reviewed children’s records which were complete. LPA also reviewed facility records. Licensees CPR & First Aid Certificate expires on 08/2023. Licensee agrees to do an Emergency drill that must be conducted at least once every six months and are properly logged.
