13 | On 7/5/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Hanson Leong, made an unannounced visit to the Belle Air Preschool to deliver the findings and close out a complaint. LPA was granted entry by the site supervisor, Maribel Tamez. LPA explained the purpose of the visit to the site supervisor. All the facility's staff members have had their criminal background checks cleared by Guardian. LPA observed six teachers supervising twenty-two preschool children.
During the investigation, all pertinent information was gathered and examined, and all the parties involved were contacted and interviewed. According to staff interviews, the director is present at the facility on a daily basis. LPA attempted to interview the children, but all of them failed the pre-interview process. Based on information obtained from interviews with both staff and children, the department was unable to determine whether these allegations were true.
Based on LPA interviews and information obtained, the above allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the violation did or did not occur; therefore, the above allegation is found to be unsubstantiated.
