On July 5, 2022 at approximately 9:05am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Catrina Quimbo conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. LPA met with assistant director, Anela Elezovic, and explained the purpose of the inspection. Facility director was temporarily away at time of LPA's inspection due to pre-scheduled vacation. Assistant director is designated with facility responsibility.

Facility is a combination center with a preschool and infant license. Present during inspection included 65 children total (33 preschool age children) and 15 staff members, including assistant director (4 staff members under preschool license). Facility is operating within capacity requirements and ratios at time of LPA's inspection.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:45pm. With assistant director, LPA inspected entire facility, indoors and outdoors, for health and safety hazards. Facility is a single level facility that includes 7 classrooms. 4 classrooms for the infant license and 3 classrooms for the preschool license: Preschool, Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms.

LPA observed classrooms to be clean, equipped with age appropriate toys, materials, and furniture. Storage for children's belongings are located inside each classroom, labeled with each child's individual names and pictures.

LPA observed facility has an installation of a fire alarm system throughout the entire building. Facility has multiple carbon monoxide detectors, fully charged fire extinguishers and fully stocked first aid kits. All poisons, cleaning solutions and hazardous materials are stored inaccessible to children on facility's high shelves or locked behind child safety locked cabinets. LPA observed bathrooms used for day care use to be clean and in proper working condition. Children's sinks do not provide water that is warmer than 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Facility currently provides a food service that includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. LPA observed kitchen and food prep area to be clean and orderly. All food is stored and prepared properly to avoid contamination. Water is available to children indoors and outdoors with children's water bottles, labeled with child's individual names and/or water pitchers with disposable cups.
