13 | On October 17, 2024, at approximately 9:10 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Maria Olguin-Leon conducted an unannounced inspection and met with Program Manager, Jessica Bloom. Purpose of the inspection was explained and was to deliver complaint findings for the above allegation. Present in the facility were Program manager, 10 staff caring for a total of 39 children (29 preschoolers and 14 toddlers). Facility is operating within capacity. During today's inspection, LPA and Program manager inspected the facility for health and safety hazards and LPA conducted interviews.
During the course of the investigation, LPA inspected facility, conducted interviews, conducted observations, and reviewed pertinent documentation provided. Based on evidence obtained, it was determined that the allegation, Staff speaks inappropriately to day care children, is determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. Although the above allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Upon receipt of this report, Facility shall post the Notice of Site Visit for 30 consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in an immediate $100 civil penalty. This report is public and can be reviewed.
Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Program Manager, Jessica Bloom and Appeal rights were provided.
