25 | On Marzo 7th, 2023 at 2:05pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted an unannounced required annual inspection and met with licensee, Leslit Tapia-Mandujano. Purpose of the inspection was explained. Present in the facility are licensee and one adult assistant caring for 2 infant children. Licensee is within capacity limits of the License. All adults living and working in the home have a criminal record clearance on file.
Licensee owns home, which is a single story home with in-law unit in the backyard. Licensee lives with Husband. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm. Daycare areas are: Backyard, Entire In-law Unit with Bathroom, and portion of backyard. OFF limit area: Entire Main house:Living Room, Dining Room, Family Room, Garage, Bathroom #1, Half bathrooms #1 and #2, Bedroom #1, #2, and #3. All off limit areas, including closets, are properly barricaded.
LPA toured day care areas of home with Licensee. LPA observed home to be clean and in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation. There were a variety of age appropriate toys and equipment in the home which were in good condition. Home does not have a fireplace in the in-law unit. There were no pools, spas or bodies of water on the property. Licensee has a pet dog that has all the proper documentation. All cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals were stored inaccessible to children. Discipline Policy was discussed.
There was a fully charged fire extinguisher, smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm, and a working telephone on site. Phone number listed for Licensee is current. Per Licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home. LPA reviewed children’s records which were complete. LPA also reviewed facility and employee records which were complete. Licensees CPR & First Aid Certificate expires on 09/2024. Licensee's Mandated Reporter Training expires on 04/2024. Last emergency drill was conducted 03/2023. Emergency drills are conducted at least once every six months and are properly logged.
