25 | On 11/27/2023, at approximately 11:15AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jonathan Tse conducted an unannounced annual visit at the facility. LPA was granted entry to the facility by Licensee, Yuk Ying Hung. LPA explained the purpose of the visit. Present in the facility were Licensee, Licensee’s husband, helper, three infants and seven preschool age children. All adults working or living in the home have obtained fingerprint clearance and are associated to the facility. The facility is in compliance with capacity requirements.
The home is a two-story, four bedroom, three-bathroom home.
Daycare Areas: Living Room #2, Bedroom #3, Bedroom #4, Bathroom #2, Bathroom #3, and Backyard.
Off-limits Areas: Living Room #1, the entire Upper Level, Bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, Bathroom #1, Kitchen, Storage Area, Shed in Backyard, and Garage.
LPA and Licensee inspected the home for any health and safety hazards. The home is kept in clean and orderly condition. There are age-appropriate toys and learning materials present. Outlets in the home are childproof. Living Room #1 is only used for passage into the daycare area during drop-off. LPA observed that was at least one crib present for each infant enrolled at the facility. Preschoolers sleep in mats and use sheets that are brought from home. The sheets are then taken home and washed once a week. There is a piano present in Living Room #2. There are four combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors present in the daycare area that are operational. There is no fireplace located in the daycare areas. The home is equipped with a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher. There is a first aid kit that was observed to be fully equipped. Off-limits areas are barricaded and kept off-limits for children in care. Per Licensee, there are no firearms in the home.
