Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrea Medlin met with facility representative for this complaint investigation. Purpose of the visit explained. LPA observed the children in classroom where the alleged incidents occurred. Both the children (C1) and (C2) as well as their group are all too young to be interviewed (2 year olds). LPA interviewed staff in this classroom as well as lead teacher for this group. Based on information gathered through staff interviews, there was one incident in the classroom where two children were both hitting each other. Staff separated the two children when they observed the incident. Regarding allegation of a child's diaper not being changed timely, staff state that no children are ever left in soiled diapers beyond the scheduled diaper changes which are: 9:30AM, before naptime at 12:00PM, 2:30PM, 4:00PM and checked again shortly before children get picked up. Diapers are also changed when needed.
