25 | On May 8th, , 2023 at approximately 8:30am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted an unannounced required annual inspection. Purpose of the inspection was explained. LPA met with licensee, Robin Bradley. Present in the facility are licensee and assistant caring for 11 children (2 infants and 9 preschool age). All adults living and working in the home have a criminal record clearance on file.
Licensee rents home, which is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, single level house. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm. Daycare area: Kitchen/Dining area, Living Room, Playroom, Bathroom #1, and Backyard. OFF limit area: Garage, Bedrooms #2, #3, and #1 with Bathroom #2, Front yard and Sideyards. All off limit areas are properly barricaded.
LPA observed home to be clean and in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation. There were a variety of age appropriate toys and equipment in the home which were in good condition. Home does have a fireplace that is properly barricaded. There is a fish tank in the living room that is barricaded. There were no pools, spas or bodies of water on the property. All cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals were stored inaccessible to children. Discipline Policy was discussed. Isolation in the playroom.
There was a fully charged fire extinguisher, smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm, and a working telephone on site. Phone number listed for Licensee is current. Per Licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home.
LPA reviewed children's file and facility files. Licensees CPR & First Aid Certificate expires on 07/2024. Licensee's Mandated Reporter Training expires 07/2024. Licensee understands that emergency drills must be conducted at least once every six months and need to be properly logged.
