25 | On September 27, 2022 at approximately 9:15am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Catrina Quimbo conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. LPA met with licensees, Stacie and Kathleen Crockett, and explained the purpose of the inspection. Present during LPA's visit included 10 enrolled children (3 infants and 7 preschool age). Licensee is operating within capacity limits and ratio during LPA's visit. All adults living and/or working in the home have a criminal record clearance on file. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
Licensee live in the home which is a single level home with 3 minor children. The DAY CARE AREAS are the living room, nap room, bathroom and backyard. The OFF-LIMIT AREAS are 2 bedrooms, kitchen, garage and storage shed in backyard area. Off limit areas are made inaccessible to children with child safety gates.
LPA inspected day care areas for health and safety hazards. LPA observed home to be in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation. Home is equipped with a variety of age appropriate toys and materials that were in good working condition. LPA observed cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals to be made inaccessible to children behind child safety locked cabinets and located in off limit areas. Home has a fire place that is properly barricaded and made inaccessible to children in care.
Home is equipped with multiple carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors and fire alarm system. Home is also equipped with multiple fully charged fire extinguishers, fully stocked first aid kits and working phone on site. Phone number listed for licensees is current. Per licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home. LPA observed required licensing documents to be properly posted, available for review.
