Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Cindy Interiano and Wendi Wittmeyer,, met with Operations Coordinator, Tal Tamir and CEO, Celine Tamir. Purpose of the inspection was explained and was for an Annual/Random inspection. Program operates on the Lower Laurel Elementary School Site. M/Tu/W/F, 2:55p-6p, and Thursdays from 2p-6p, during the School District calendar and M-F, 7a-6p during School breaks. Present during inspection was Director and 7 Staff supervising 38 School age children. Summer program ends on 08/21/9 and first day of school is 08/22/19. Program is licensed to operate in Rooms #F1, #F2, #F3, #G6, and MPR. Facility was inspected indoors and outdoors for Health and Safety hazards. Classrooms have age appropriate toys and equipment that are in good repair. Hooks are used to store Children’s belongings. Program has exclusive, scheduled use of sections of the Elementary School Playground, Grass area, and the Kindergarten Playground. Children are not allowed to go beyond the set boundaries of the playground, unless supervised by Staff. Outdoor play area is free of debris and dangerous conditions. All outdoor toys and equipment are age appropriate and in good repair. Classroom is equipped with a smoke and carbon monoxide detector and a fire extinguisher. Classroom has proper ventilation and sufficient lighting. Program has exclusive, scheduled use of 3 accessible Boys' and Girls' restrooms. Restrooms are maintained clean, in good repair, and with adequate supplies. Staff restrooms are maintained inaccessible to children. First Aid Kit and Emergency supplies are properly maintained and kept inaccessible to children. Fire drills are conducted every quarter and is properly logged. Cleaning products and Toxins are maintained inaccessible to children. Drinking water is readily available indoors and outdoors. Program provides daily snacks. Program maintains all required Licensing information in a Folder, which is made accessible to all Guardians. Sign in sheet was reviewed and is complete and up to date with sign in/out signatures for Summer camp and ‘check in’ and Sign out signatures for After school.

During inspection, Operations Coordinator and LPA discussed incident reported on 06/17/19, in which Child#1 was enrolled in program with a medical condition. Operations Coordinator states after discussing the protocols with the Director, Staff and Guardians, Child #1 was accepted into the Summer program. Child#1 attended Summer program without incident. Operations Coordinator states their IMS (Incidental Medical Service) plan continues to be current.

Also during inspection,
*Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed.
*Facility was reminded about having all Staff and Volunteers provide proof of immunization against influenza, pertussis, and measles or qualifies for an exemption.
*Operations Coordinator was reminded of Pesticides training. Information on the DPR website at: www.cdpr.ca.gov/shoolipm/childcare.
* Operations Coordinator was reminded about the Provider Information Notices (PINs) on CCLD website.
* Operations Coordinator was reminded about of Mandated Reporter Training available on CCLD website.

***No deficiencies were cited against the facility under CCR,Title 22, Div. 12, Ch. 1. ***
